About Vinny
Speaker, Sales, & Stand-up Comedian
After schooling at WCSU and a degree in Business/Communications Vinny was hired by the Society of Plastics Engineers, which began a 40-year career in the plastics industry. He went from organizing and promoting plastics seminars at national tradeshows and conferences to sales and management for domestic and global corporations. After 20 years working on the corporate end in management, Vinny created his own independent sales rep firm, specializing in selling numerous plastics materials and products to today.
While building his plastics career at 33, he wandered into stand-up comedy as a challenge from colleagues. He stood on stage at a comedy club in NYC and has been doing it ever since as a professional comedian for 30 years.
Combining his extensive industry experience in plastics with his comedic stage presence, he passionately engages the next generation through school speaking engagements with a unique blend of humor and life lessons. His personal stories of triumph and learning from setbacks instill confidence and equip students with skills that will ignite their enthusiasm for the future.
